Today is one of my only creative days left before my boys start on school holidays. I have wonderful things to make and do, but wanted to stop in here first and share some things that have caught my eyes and ears lately. That have spun me around to stare, listen, be inspired by and create with ...
Listening to ... Florence and the Machine...Ceremonials and Boy and Bear's Moonshine ...Especially love this film clip...it makes you want to be a kid for the day and just create wonderous costumes...
Reading ... The History of Love By Nicole Krauss.... Some quotes from this book will stay with me forever.
In love with ... the blog of Elista ... paper cutting artist extradonaire ...every now and again the most amazing person comes along in blogland and completely blows me away with their passion for life and art. I just can't wait to see and read more from this woman! This print can be found in her etsy shop!
I love working on ... my pattern designs with Rachael and Beth. and being inspired by all the wonderful people in the course. Here's a few samples ...

And Blog Posting... on my upcoming book's website all about me ...the illustrator and Brian the Author and we've added some new pictures and prose from the book over there too!...click here to read more!
Ok, must start creating for the day, going to get coffee, put some amazing music on and its time to work! Wish me luck to get a lot done!

Great post! Lots of things to see, hear and do. It seems like everyone is loving the pattern course...may have to look into it for next year. Really like the lanterns! Julie

Thanks Julie, yes, I am really happy with my lanterns too! I can highly recommend the pattern course! I can't believe how much I have learned so quickly and how inspired I have become to create my own range of designs!
