In love with ... the blog of Elista ... paper cutting artist extradonaire ...every now and again the most amazing person comes along in blogland and completely blows me away with their passion for life and art. I just can't wait to see and read more from this woman! This print can be found in her etsy shop!

The amazing Mister Rob Ryan's new and amazing papercut called MY Universe which can be found in his Etsy Shop here! and created in some of my favorite colours ...vanilla and jade. This man's art always makes me smile and makes me want to create art for others that makes them smile too!

I'm enjoying my new Spoonful Zine. A wonderful way to escape and spend a morning tea time. I secretly wish this little magazine was a much longer read, it always ends too soon and has too many beautiful things and words in it! Oh and by the way ...I'm on the lookout for some sparkly sneakers too!

Today ... some time spent staring at the clouds from a great vantage point ... laying on the trampoline, plus a walk in the autumn leaves, delicious food and then I got to indulge in some quiet time reading my latest copy of Spoonful!

I've spent a great deal of inspiring time playing with paper and vintage buttons in the last few weeks! I've created designs ( all recycled ) for wedding invitations and accessories... a fun challenge with great results that has made me want to get out my boxes of paper again and play making collages. And I've also created a new selection of Button Collections for myEtsy shop... including Button Queens, Button Gardens and Button Birds Nests!You can find themhere!
And I've come across a new blog today filled with beautiful colour and paper creations calledArt as Life . I'm also reading a fabulous zine calledExtra Curricular ( created in New Zealand ), its filled with wonderful illustrations and paper cuts and their creators!
We've also been making lots of cookies and handmade, homemade food after discovering my five year old is having reactions to all the preservatives and colours that are found in so much packaged food! So these lemon and coconut cookies were a REAL treat!
And I had an oppotunity to watch this pastel coloured, light filled film alone curled up on the couch with wintery chocolate pudding... if you get a chanceBright Staris beautiful and will inspire you to write a real letter on real paper, not just email your loved ones!
